New Delhi : Videocon D2H now a day’s adding many south Indian channels to reach south India. D2H added a new Malayalam language news channels " Jai Hind" to its platform. This channel would be available on all basic pack subscribers.

This channel can be watch on channel no.859, now D2H claims 500 TV channels. At this time DTH offering 132 south Indian TV channels.

DTH News / New Delhi : Sony Network launched another Hindi Movie Channel under brand of Sony Max, its name is Set Max2. This channel Started Test Transmission On intelsat 20 Satellite at 68.5°E.

Sony MAX2 mainly will focus on contemporary cinema movies. Sony MAX1 tagline is "Diwana bana de" and Sony MAX2 tagline is "Jab Dekho Tab Naya".

Recently Zee Network also launched &picuture and same STAR Network launched Movies Now channel. So I think now Sony Max also following them.

New Delhi / DTH News : This is bad news for Punjabi language viewers that Z Network stopped Z ETC Punjabi channel. India's DTH service providers also showing massage on channel that this channel will be discontinued because broadcaster decided to shut down its services.

This channel launched in 2002 for Punjabi audience. Z ETC Punjabi shows were related to Punjabi Music, comedy Shows, and other entertainment shows.

TV network Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) Monday announced that it will launch a new Hindi general entertainment channel Zindagi nationally June 23. The latest offering will focus on catering to viewers with stories with universal emotions.

Zindagi will have fiction shows – mainly those that dwell on romance, love and family drama – produced overseas and targeted at family audiences.

“This channel is a first in its category of GECs. It will offer alternative fiction content suitable for Indian sensibilities and produced by content creators from around the world. Dish TV also added Sony Max2 on its platform at channel no. 211, and it showing old hitz movies. At this time this channel available on all packs but not available on Chhota pack.
